Exen Survey Results
Exen Survey
To research and to
better understand the creative market’s perspective on energy drinks and
beverages in general, we created a likert scale and gave them out to students
on the campus of The Art Institute of CA – Orange County, in Santa Ana, CA. The
subjects’ ages ranged from 18 years – older 20’s with the majority being male.
The questions and results are listed below.
Questions
and Results
·
Do you drink
a lot of energy drinks or sodas?
o
30% disagree
// 10% neutral // 60% agree
·
Do you rely
on energy drinks to stay up?
o

// 70% agree
·
Are you
influenced to buy beverages based on its popularity?
o

// 30% neutral // 50% agree
·
Do you feel
there needs to be a specific drink that caters to creatives?
o
10% disagree
// 20% neutral // 70% agree
·
Is health
quality important to you in drinks?
o
30% disagree
// 20% neutral // 50% agree
Summary
After
evaluating the results of the survey we found that the majority of art students
agreed on drinking a large amount of energy drinks or soda to stay awake. A
large percent also felt that there should be a specific drink that caters to
creatives, similar to how Red Bull and Monster Energy caters to action sport
athletes. When asked if popularity influenced their decision on which beverages
to buy, 50% agreed, while 30% were neutral and 20% disagreed. And similar
results were found when asked if health quality was important to them in
drinks, with 50% agreeing, 20% neutral and 30% disagreeing.
This
survey shows the popularity of energy drinks within the creative industry, in
this case an art college campus. And also displays the demand for a drink that
caters to creatives, while showing how important health quality is when
choosing a drink, which EXEN offers.

Energy Bottle Label
This week I worked on the "energy" bottle label. I wen't with a green/yellow color palette. All the bottles will have the same basic design and concept but will have different colors and content, according to their type. I also added a little description of what is inside the drink.
Relaxation Label Comp
Still working on the Nutrition Facts and maybe a small description of the drink.
